My Story
A weave of the unexpected threads of corporate precision and unbridled creativity. My work – etched in pencil, color pencil, ink pen, and clay – is a tribute to this extraordinary journey I embarked on from corporate life to artistry.
✳︎
Retired from Corporate Life
- Samsung Headquarters Alum (South Korea)
- Masters degree in Electrical Engineering
- Worked with colleagues from around the world
I began in the disciplined world of electrical engineering, working in the demanding environment of Samsung. The same meticulous attention to detail that served me well in designing intricate circuits today informs the precision in my drawings and the care in my sculptures.
In 2018, I embarked on a significant chapter of my life. I left my established career and relocated to Dallas, Texas, then quickly discovered the opportunity to cultivate my passion for art under the tutelage of a renowned local artist. This mentorship has been instrumental in shaping my approach to art and enhancing my artistic skills.

Becoming an Artist
- Studying under a local master in Dallas
- Exploring my creativity through study and innovation
- Using the past, with my own insight and mediums
Whether it’s a detailed pencil drawing, a vibrant color pencil piece, a striking ink sketch, or an expressive clay sculpture, my work reflects a blend of my past experiences and current explorations. Each piece carries a piece of my narrative, unfolding in lines, shades, and forms.
My art is about more than just aesthetic appeal – it’s about storytelling, self-discovery, and the shared human experience. It’s my personal language of thoughts and emotions, my translation of the world around me into visual forms.
